Last but not least, Tanz im August 2013 will be highlighting the link between dance and the visual arts.
Among other things, it will be presenting a video installation by the artist David Michalek, who portrays dancers in slow motion dance films, as well as three versions of Tino Sehgal’s work (Untitled) (2000).

The digital material was now reproduced in the form of a video-file ( in QuickTime container format, see also Samuel Rousseau, Untitled ) directly fed through an Apple Power Mac G5 ( replacing the Apple IIsi ).
In 2009, the ZKM produced a fully new and entirely separate installation, based on the original concept of Karlsruhe Moviemap.
www02.zkm.deDie ursprünglich eingesetzte Laserdisc erfuhr im Rahmen dieser Maßnahmen eine Digitalisierung ; somit wurde der Einsatz des Laserdisc-Players hinfällig.
Das Digitalisat wird nun in Form einer Videodatei ( im QuickTime-Containerformat; siehe auch Samuel Rousseau Ohne Titel ) direkt durch einen Apple Power Mac G5 wiedergegeben.
