Im Transportbereich hat Batumi mittlerweile ein öffentliches Radverleihsystem namens Batumvelo mit aktuell 22 Stationen und insgesamt 300 Rädern im Stadtgebiet , daneben ein knallrot markiertes Radwegenetz , das weiter ausgebaut werden soll .
Andere Projekte sind beispielsweise das Adjara Müllmanagement, das seit 2010 entwickelt wird, und die geplante smarte und energieeffiziente Straßenbeleuchtung.

In the transport sector, for instance, Batumi now has a public bike system called Batumvelo with currently 22 bike terminals around the city and a total of 300 bikes, along with a network of bright-red bicycle lanes, soon to be extended further.
Other projects are the Adjara Solid Waste Management Project, underway since 2010, and the planned smart and energy-efficient street lighting.
