Dr. Socrates Dimitriou Zottos ist Geschäftsführer und medizinischer Leiter der Augenklinik Theresienhöhe in München.
Seit 2003 ist er als Trainer der Kommission Refraktive Chirurgie ( KRC ) tätig.

Um die funktionalen Anforderungen für ModABS zu ermitteln, wurden insbesondere drei aus dem militärischen Kontext stammende multiagentenbasierte Simulationssysteme analysiert:MANA, Pythagoras und Socrates.
Für die Ermittlung der Anforderungen an die System- und Agenten-Architektur wurden Open Source Projekte JADE und SeSAm näher betrachtet.
