Die Analytik hat sich vor allem auf die Charakterisierung von Naturstoffen und Biomaterialien (NREL-Analyse, Fettanalytik), von polymeren Produkten sowie von mineralischen Bestandteilen in recycelbaren Stoffen (Asphalten, Bahnschwellen, Leuchtschichten) spezialisiert.
In diesem Zusammenhang konnte ein umfangreiches Know how im Bereich der Bestimmung von Ligninen, Zuckern, Fetten, Plattformchemikalien für Polymersynthese mittels GC-MS, LC-MS, GPC, Elementaranalyse und ICP-OES aufgebaut werden.
