Right now, I have three research areas : the first involves federalism.
I am currently publishing a large, three-volume handbook, with 100 authors from different disciplines.
The second area is the reform of corporate agricultural politics 2013 – an important topic for farmers and rural regions.

With a major three-volume publication, the Film Museum wants to illuminate its programming and collections activity since 1964 from various perspectives.
Volume 1 is a work of historical research, describing in detail the establishment and development of the institution – from post-war Viennese film culture and its protagonists to the tenth anniversary of the Film Museum in early 1974.

About ten years later, Diebold Schilling was able to present the city council with this three-volume work, with its title pages in color, decorative initials, and more than 600 large illustrations.
The first volume contains the early history of Bern from the founding of the city until the year 1421, based on the older chronicle by Konrad Justinger, following the version by Bendicht Tschachtlan.

Rund zehn Jahre später konnte Diebold Schilling das dreibändige, mit kolorierten Titelblättern, Initialen und über 600 grossen Illustrationen geschmückte Werk dem Rat überreichen.
Der erste Band enthält die Berner Frühgeschichte von der Stadtgründung bis ins Jahr 1421, nach der älteren Chronik des Konrad Justinger, in der Fassung von Bendicht Tschachtlan.
