One of the leading roles in AIRPLANE ! was Leslie Nielson, who later became very famous as “ Sergeant Detective Lieutenant ” Frank Drebin in the movie NAKED GUN.
Another spoof produced by the Zucker-Brothers and Jim Abrahams. This three part series was a parody of American detective movies of the 80ies with it’s long car drives, film-noir elements and analytical self-talk of the detectives.
