Der Service beinhaltet die Aufbereitung der cDNA für die Immunisierung der Tiere, die Koordination der Immunisierung von Kaninchen, Ratten oder Mäusen sowie die Aufbereitung und initiale Testung der Immunseren.
Im Fall von Ratten und Mäusen umfasst der Service ferner die Herstellung von monoklonalen Antikörpern ( somatische Zellfusion, Screening und Subklonierung von Hybridomalinien, sowie die Isotypisierung der monoklonalen Antikörper und die Konjugation an Fluorochrome oder an eine Trägermatrix ).
Eine technische Assistentin ist innerhalb der Core Unit für die Umsetzung der Projekte zuständig.
