Im Schuljahr 1992 / 93 wurden die Bestände der Lehrerbibliothek und der Schülerbibliothek zu einer Zentralbibliothek zusammengeführt.
Im Schuljahr 1997 / 98 – nach Abschluss einer mehrjährigen grundlegenden Sanierung des Schulgebäudes – erfolgte die Übersiedlung in den neuen, 140 qm großen Bibliothekssaal, in dem die Bücher in Freihandaufstellung präsentiert werden.
