Zwischen den Schuljahren 2002 / 03 und 2008 / 09 stieg die Einschulung von Mädchen landesweit um 64 Prozent, im Südwesten um 79 und in der Region Ost sogar um 123 Prozent.
Im Einsatzgebiet des Programms stieg der Schulbesuch von Mädchen stärker an als in vergleichbaren Dörfern, die nicht zum Einsatzgebiet gehören.
