In 2003 he qualified as professor at the University of Kaiserslautern and lectured “ lightweight construction and design with composites ”.
Dr. Himmel left the institute in July 2013 to enjoy early retirement.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Huber was Group Leader in the department Design and Analysis from 2002 to 2006 and responsible for the research fields Process Simulation and Crash/Energy Absorption.
www.ivw.uni-kl.de2003 habilitierte er sich an der TU Kaiserslautern und lehrte das Fachgebiet „ Leichtbau und Bauweisen mit Verbundwerkstoffen “.
Dr. Himmel verließ das Institut im Juli 2013 mit Eintritt in die Freistellungsphase der Altersteilzeit.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ulrich Huber war von 2002 bis 2006 Gruppenleiter in der Abteilung Berechnung und Konstruktion und verantwortlich für die Forschungsfelder Prozesssimulation und Crash/Energieabsorption.
