Hier ist das WKI als Prüf-, Überwachungs- und Zertifizierungsstelle von der obersten Bauaufsicht anerkannt und darüber hinaus für privatrechtliche Gütegemeinschaften aus der Fertighausindustrie und dem Zimmerhandwerk aktiv.
Das Aufgabenspektrum wird abgerundet mit der Erstellung von Gutachten über Konstruktionen.
