In Frechen sind Töpfereierzeugnisse gefertigt worden, die als Pingsdorfer Ware, Rheinisches Steinzeug und Irdenware vom Niederrhein bekannt sind.
Bartmannkrüge aus Steinzeug vom 16. bis 19. Jahrhundert und Blei glasierte, farbig bemalte Bildschüsseln des 18./19. Jahrhunderts sind typisch für die hiesige Produktion.
