Die gesamte Nordfront wurde rekonstruiert und hat seit dieser Zeit das Aussehen aus den 30. Jahren des 16. Jahrhunderts.
Leider wurde wegen Geldmangel und Interessenlosigkeit höherer Stellen die Rekonstruktion an den anderen Seiten nicht weitergeführt.
Das ist sehr schade, denn die Stadt hätte eine einzigartige europäische Touristensensation sein können.
