Diese Veränderung war vor allem auf eine im Vergleich zum Vorjahr gestiegene Aufnahme der mittel- und langfristigen Finanzverbindlichkeiten von 0,5 Mrd. € sowie auf netto geringere Tilgungen der kurzfristigen Finanzverbindlichkeiten von 0,3 Mrd. € zurückzuführen.
Demgegenüber gab es im ersten Quartal 2009 eine Vorabausschüttung der Hrvatske telekomunikacije von 0,1 Mrd. €, der keine vergleichbare Auszahlung im Vorjahresquartal gegenüber stand.
Die Aufnahme von Finanzverbindlichkeiten betraf im ersten Quartal 2009 vor allem die Begebung eines Eurobonds in Höhe von 2,0 Mrd. € sowie die Bege- bung von Schuldscheindarlehen in Höhe von 0,2 Mrd. €.

The issue of financial liabilities in the first quarter of 2009 related mainly to the issue of a Eurobond for EUR 2.0 billion and the issue of promissory notes for an amount of EUR 0.2 billion.
