Der foucaultblog dient sowohl der unverhohlenen Faszination wie der kühlen Historisierung.
Er soll dieses doppelte Ziel erreichen, indem er in kurzer, prägnanter Form die Breite und die Vielfalt der Bezugnahmen auf Foucault sowie der Forschungen über Foucault reflektiert – und dabei zum kritischen Weiterdenken einlädt.
Die HerausgeberInnen des foucaultblog sind Historikerinnen und Kulturwissenschaftler aus Zürich (ZGW & GK), München, Wien und Paris, die in verschiedenen Projekten mit und über Foucault arbeiten, ohne sich über Foucault immer einig zu sein.

It aspires to achieve this twofold objective by reflecting in a short, concise manner on the breadth and diversity of references to Foucault, as well as on research about Foucault—and thereby invite further critical thought.
The publishers of the foucaultblog, are historians and cultural researchers from Zurich (ZGW&GK), Munich, Vienna, and Paris involved in various projects with and about Foucault, without always agreeing on Foucault.
