Im Lager, wo er mit 60 anderen Erntehelfern am Rand eines kleinen Industriegebiets bei Huelva gleich neben den Feldern lebt, ist es auch jetzt um fünf Uhr morgens schon beinahe taghell: Die Scheinwerfer auf dem Fabrikgelände gegenüber leuchten die ganze Nacht.
Rund um die Uhr holen Lastwagen die Erdbeeren, um sie in die Regale der Supermärkte von Frankreich, Deutschland und Holland zu bringen.

Trotzdem macht es echt Spaß durch die Apfelplantagen zu wander, den Erntehelfern bei der Arbeit zuzuschauen und die glücklichen Gesichter der Bauern zu sehen wenn sie wieder eine Ladung Äpfel zur Genossenschaft transportieren können.
