Die Brüsseler Niederlassung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit ( GIZ ), Bereich International Services, arbeitet seit 2002 – damals noch als GTZ – im Auftrag der Europäischen Kommission an der Umsetzung des Programms „ Informationsaustausch und technische Unterstützung “ ( TAIEX ).
Das Programm hilft Beitrittsländern der EU dabei, das nationale Recht an die EU-Gesetzgebung ( „ acquis communautaire “ ) anzugleichen.
Jetzt wurde der Vertrag um 14 Monate verlängert, was einem zusätzlichen Auftragsumfang von etwa 30 Millionen Euro entspricht.
