Auf der Laute Târ, der Spießgeige Kemâncheh, dem Doppelrohrblattinstrument Balabân, der Klarinette und zwei großen Meistern an Perkussionen setzen diese Instrumentalzauberer Qasimovs Gesang immer wieder in strahlendes Licht.
Eine herausragende Rolle spielt mittlerweile seine zwanzigjährige Tochter Ferghana Qasimova, deren “ trainierte Stimme wie eine dunkle Glocke, mit warmem Timbre und erstaunlicher Reife klingt ” ( FAZ ).
