www.bayceer.uni-bayreuth.deDurch das Verbrennen fossiler Energieträger ( wie zum Beispiel Kohle und Erdöl ) und durch großflächige Entwaldung wird Kohlendioxid ( CO2 ) in der Atmosphäre angereichert.
Land- und Viehwirtschaft verursachen Gase wie Methan ( CH4 ) und Distickstoffmonoxid ( Lachgas, N2O ).
Kohlendioxid, Methan und Lachgas gehören zu den treibhauswirksamen Gasen.
www.umweltbundesamt.deCarbon dioxide ( CO2 ) accumulates in the atmosphere as a result of combustion of fossil fuels ( e.g. coal and petroleum ) as well as large-scale deforestation.
Agriculture and animal husbandry produce gases such as methane ( CH4 ) and nitrous oxide ( laughing gas, N2O ).
Carbon dioxide, methane and laughing gas are among the gases with high global warming potential.

Die globalen atmosphärischen Konzentrationen von Kohlendioxid, Methan und Distickstoffmonoxid ( Lachgas ) stiegen seit 1750 markant an und sind die Folge menschlicher Aktivitäten.
Der weltweite Anstieg der Kohlendioxidkonzentration ist primär auf den Verbrauch fossiler Brennstoffe und auf Landnutzungsänderungen zurückzuführen, während der Anstieg von Methan und Lachgas primär durch die Landwirtschaft verursacht wird.

Global atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide ( laughing gas ) have increased markedly as a result of human activities since 1750.
Global increases in carbon dioxide concentrations are due primarily to fossil fuel use, whereas the observed increase in methane and nitrous oxide is predominantly due to agriculture.
