Der Jahresabschluss samt Lagebericht der Lenzing AG und der Konzernabschluss nach US GAAP zum 31.12.2003 wurden durch die Österreichische Wirtschaftsberatung GmbH, Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft Wien, geprüft und der uneingeschränkte Bestätigungsvermerk erteilt.
Die Ergebnisse der Abschlussprüfung wurden im Bilanzausschuss eingehend mit dem Abschlussprüfer erörtert.
Der Aufsichtsrat erklärt sich gemäß § 127 AktG mit dem erstatteten Lagebericht einverstanden und billigt den Jahresabschluss 2003, der damit gem. § 125 Absatz 2 AktG festgestellt ist.

The Financial Audit Committee discussed the result of this audit in detail with the auditors.
In keeping with § 127 of the Austrian Stock Corporations Act, the Supervisory Board accepts the status report and approves the fi nancial statement for 2003, which has thus been established in keeping with § 125 ( 2 ) of the Austrian Stock Corporations Act.
