In der Installation vermittelt der Künstler die Erfahrung seiner Reise von den Bergen des Rif, dem Ausgangspunkt seines mehrstufigen Projekts Ghorfa, Al-âna/Hunâ, über Tétouan und Damaskus bis in den Ausstellungsraum in Jordanien.

In the installation, the artist conveys the experience of his travelling from the Rif Mountains, the departure point of his mutli-stage project Ghorfa, Al-âna/Hunâ, to the exhibition space in Jordan, via Tétouan and Damascus.

„Wörter als Türen – in Sprache, Kunst, Film" zeigt sich als Versuch, den Ausstellungsraum selbst als Projektionsfläche zu verstehen, um die materiellen und kulturellen Aspekte künstlerischer Produktion bewegter Bilder oder überhaupt deren Zustandekommen beleuchten zu können.

"Words as Doors – in Language, Art, Film" reflects an attempt at understanding exhibition space itself to be a projection surface for illuminating the material and cultural aspects related to the artistic production of moving images, or to how they were created to begin with.

Hierbei transformierte er sein Appartment Schritt für Schritt in einen multifunktionalen Raum, der sowohl als Wohnung, Atelier, Büro wie auch als Ausstellungsraum und Galerie diente.
2006 wird mit einer großen Einzelausstellung im Wiener MUMOK der Startschuss für „Planets of Comparison“, ein neues, auf mehrere Jahre angelegtes Projekt gegeben.

Diese Anforderungen betreffen vor allem die verfügbaren Flächen - also die Ausstellungsräume - sowie die Bereitschaft, die finanziellen Mittel zu investieren, die zusätzlich zu dem erforderlich sind, was das Kulturministeriums zur Verfügung stellt.
