Host plants :
The caterpillar lives on Prunus species (especially Prunus spinosa).
Less frequently it is also observed on Crataegus (hawthorn) and other woody Rosaceae.

Seltener wird sie auch an Crataegus (Weißdorn) und weiteren holzigen Rosaceae beobachtet.

So I found many larvae in Northern Greece on small to tall bushes of Prunus sp. (not spinosa).
