March 2013. THE HUNT ( Jagten ) is a fulminant directing effort by the famous Danish director Thomas Vinterberg, starring Mads Mikkelsen as Lucas, a nursery school teacher who faces false accusations and fights for his reputation and his existence within the community.
At the 2012 Cannes film festival, Mikkelsen was awarded the prize for “ Best Male Actor ” for this exceptional acting performance.
