Die Vereinten Nationen haben mit der Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 alle Mitgliedstaaten aufgerufen , sich in diesem Jahrzehnt noch stärker als bisher um eine Verbesserung der Verkehrssicherheit zu bemühen .
Die GIZ unterstützt diese Initiative durch aktive Kommunikation und konkrete Aktivitäten in den Projekten vor Ort.

By launching the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020 , the United Nations has called on the member states to step up their efforts to improve road safety .
GIZ is supporting this initiative through active communication measures and specific activities in local projects.

Beispielsweise muss das European Road Safety Action Programme ( ERSAP ) dahingehend geprüft werden , ob es ausreichend an eine alternde Gesellschaft angepasst ist .

For example , the European Road Safety Action Programme ( ERSAP ) has to be reviewed to see whether it is sufficiently adapted to an ageing society .

Revenue from the speed infringements will go into the Australian Community Road Safety Fund to bankroll further traffic safety programs , among others in the vicinity of schools .
“ We support the objective of the Australian authorities to increase traffic safety in the region ”, says Michael Mertin, CEO of JENOPTIK AG.
