Die Europäische Behörde für Lebensmittelsicherheit ( EFSA ) hat ein wissenschaftliches Gutachten zum Bericht über die Umweltüberwachung nach dem Inverkehrbringen ( Post-Market Environmental Monitoring – PMEM ) von genetisch verändertem Mais MON810 für die Anbausaison 2010 veröffentlicht .
In seiner Bewertung des Berichts gelangte das Gremium für genetisch veränderte Organismen (GMO-Gremium) der EFSA zu dem Schluss, dass sich der Anbau von Mais MON810 in der Vegetationsperiode 2010 nicht nachteilig auf die Gesundheit von Mensch und Tier oder die Umwelt auswirkte.

The European Food Safety Authority ( EFSA ) has published a scientific opinion on the Post-Market Environmental Monitoring ( PMEM ) report for the 2010 cultivation season of genetically modified maize MON810 .
In its assessment of the report, EFSA’s Panel on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO Panel) concluded that cultivation of the maize MON810 for the 2010 growing season had no adverse effects on human and animal health or the environment.
