Damit ist der erste Schritt zur industriellen Entwicklung auf der rechten Emsseite getan, die bis dahin eher landwirtschaftlichen Charakter hatte.

The new factory is therefore built on a plot of land on the eastern bank of the Ems, on the “ Mühlenkamp ” next to the recently completed upper canal lock.
