In der Mörbischer Produktion ist der 1980 geborene rumänische Tenor Tiberius Simu als Zarewitsch zu hören sowie in der Rolle der Sonja Alexandra Reinprecht, die bereits Gastspiele an der Oper unter den Linden, der Staatsoper München, der Wiener Staatsoper sowie den Festspielen von Salzburg und Bregenz gab.
